Viele Familien rund um den Globus lieben und pflegen diese wundersame Tradition der Weihnachtselfen. Aber fangen wir vorne an: woher soll der Weihnachtsmann denn wirklich wissen, welches Kind artig war? Und da kommt der kleine freundliche Elf ins Spiel...
Die Geschichte erzählt von den Weihnachts-Elfen und wie sie in der Weihnachtszeit zu den Familien fliegen. Nachts fliegen sie zurück zum Nordpol und tauchen dann erst am nächsten Tag wieder auf - jedoch an einem ganz anderen Platz im Haus. In dieser zeitlosen Tradition kommen die Elfen immer zur Adventszeit in ihre Familie und bleiben bis Heiligabend, bevor sie wieder bis zum nächsten Weihnachtsfest zum Nordpol verschwinden.
Beim ersten Einzug im neuen Zuhause kann der Elf feierlich adoptiert werden und einen schönen Namen erhalten. Er erfüllt dann im Auftrag des Weihnachtsmanns die spannende Aufgabe, die Kinder zu beobachten und dem Weihnachtsmann darüber zu berichten. Jeden Tag sucht er sich dafür ganz geschickt neue Beobachtungspunkte und schon das tägliche Suchen des niedlichen Elfs macht fast mehr Spass als das Öffnen eines Adventskalenders... Dieses Suchritual wird schnell zum beglückenden Spass für die ganze Familie ;-) Um den märchenhaften Weihnachtszauber rund um Elf zu erhalten, darf man nur nach Herzens Lust mit ihm sprechen, ihn aber niemals berühren!
Neben dieser wunderbaren Weihnachtstradition für die ganze Familie zeigen sich die Kinder übrigens auch von ihrer besten Seite, damit ja die richtigen Botschaften beim Weihnachtsmann ankommen...
